Safety Award
July 13, 2009

For the second year in a row, OnSite Construction, Inc. has achieved the silver level of the Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) prestigious Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program.

We view this as a stepping stone in our safety achievement and will continue to utilize the STEP program as a gauge for our safety program.

Construction is an inherently dangerous vocation, but by combining our common-sense approach with our written safety and health plan, we are better able to provide a safer and more productive workplace.

From ABC website:

STEP was established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety Committee to assist ABC member contractors in evaluating and improving corporate safety practices and recognize outstanding safety training efforts. STEP awards are presented annually in four categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each year, over 2,000 contractors of various sizes participate in the STEP program.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national association representing nearly 25,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms in 78 chapters across the United States. For more news and information, visit ABC’s website,
